Running from Friday, September 26, to Sunday, October 12, this annual non-profit festival offers a rich tapestry of music, art, and cultural events designed to captivate residents and visitors alike.
A festival spokesperson shared, "Each year, we strive to enhance our offerings, providing a diverse selection of high-quality events right here in Goostrey. There's no need to travel to nearby cities; Goosfest brings top-tier music and arts to your doorstep."
The festivities commence with the Art in the Barns Exhibition at The Orchards Farm, Bidlea Dairy, from September 26 to 28. This free event showcases works from over 20 professional artists, complemented by a shop featuring prints, cards, and unique gifts. Attendees can also participate in various art workshops and demonstrations throughout the weekend.
On Sunday, September 28, the renowned Biddulph Male Voice Choir will perform at St Luke's Parish Church at 4:00 pm. Celebrating over a century of musical excellence, the choir has garnered accolades at numerous competitions and has toured extensively across Europe.
The musical journey continues on Friday, October 3, with a concert by the Cheshire-based band Fine Lines at Goostrey Village Hall.
